What is the difference between the elite and standard repair protein?
Both ranges are excellent tasting protein powders and excellent for health. The repair range is a low-cost protein that offers 25g of protein per serving with added ingredients to help the amino acids digest and absorb. The Elite range is used by many professional athletes and provides the same protein content as the repair range but has a range of plant-based ingredients that are proven to boost recovery after exercise. The elite range, in addition to the proteins, provides extra micronutrients, antioxidants, 5 billion probiotics, and anti-inflammatory compounds, all proven to be beneficial for health and athletic recovery.
The difference between Male and Female Elite Protein powders?
In both the elite and repair ranges, the male and female proteins both have a very similar ingredient profile. We have added red maca and seabuckthorn berry juice powder to the female ranges because they are ingredients that support female health. Red maca is an adaptogen, meaning it balances female’s hormones, whether they are elevated or depleted. Sea buckthorn helps to support hair skin and nails by increasing collagen synthesis and it excellent for increasing energy levels.
We use organic ingredients within each blend. The product can’t be certified organic under U.K law because some of the ingredients, such as botswellic extract, stevia extract and probiotics are not classified as foods and not permitted to be used in a certified organic product. We strive to provide clean products and test batches independently to ensure they are free from heavy metals and pesticides.

What is the source of the BCCA?
We use BCAA derived from sunflower seeds. Sunflower BCAA are a 2:1:1 ratio as found in foods from nature. It is vital not to create amino acid imbalances. Over supplementation of leucine, found in high quantities in many BCAAs, can cause high levels of ammonia to accumulate in the body, placing a strain on the liver and kidneys. High doses have also been found to cause hypoglycaemia and gastrointestinal side effects.
Are Your BCAA’s Ethically sourced?
The ethics behind the manufacture of BCAAs is important to raw sport and our customers. The majority of the BCAA products on the market are derived from duck feathers, GMO’s, animal hair or even human hair. We use an instantised 2:1:1 BCAA derived from vegan fermented sunflower. Instantised differ from standard BCAAs due to their water solubility, making them far more applicable in the sports beverage market. To give the amino acids their soluble quality, they undergo spray drying with lecithin, which acts as an emulsifier; allowing the BCAA to dissolve readily in water. We only use sunflower lecithin as an emulsifying agent, which has all the benefits of soy lecithin, without any of the allergenic properties.
